Dr. von Hauner Academy Exchange Program

The Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich is one of the leading research universities in Europe. It has a more than 500-year long tradition as a top-level European research university, clearly demonstrated in its international character and its areas of academic cooperation from research to teaching and student exchange. Dr. Christoph Klein, the director of the Dr. von Hauner Children’s Hospital is a paediatrician and clinical researcher. The mission of his team is to understand basic principles of the blood and immune system by studying rare human patients with inherited disorders.

The Dr. von Hauner Academy Exchange Program and the Care-for-Rare Foundation for children with rare diseases invite applications of students and graduates for

short-term visiting internship positions in translational sciences

at the Dr. von Hauner children’s hospital.

The program is open for students, graduates and junior clinicians from all countries worldwide who wish to specialize in basic and translational science of rare diseases of the immune system.

For selected candidates a limited amount of travel grants is available.

Candidates can submit their CV and 2 letters of recommendation anytime.
